Rooms, Ambiance & Service - 10/10

We stayed in a beautifully designed room with a private outdoor onsen - for sure the highlight. Sitting in hot water in the crisp November air felt soooo good. Also a lovely little private terrace for a morning coffee. I can only describe it as a mini stone shrine garden but it worked.

The interiors are unsurprisingly traditional Japanese aesthetic: minimal, intentional, exceptionally well-crafted.

There was a cool indoor pool, no phone policy.
